Tragedy struck when a 44 year old mechanic, known for his drinking habits, was found dead in a sewer in front of Wat Khae School, located in Pak Klong Bang Pla Kod, Phra Samut Chedi district, Samut Prakan province.

 

The incident was reported today, December 8, at around 7.30am by residents and the local authorities. The tragic discovery was made after the deceased’s wife, 48 year old Siriporn, failed to reach her husband, Wichit, after a domestic dispute the previous night.

 

The scene revealed a grim sight of Wichit’s body lying face down inside the sewer. The mechanic was wearing a short-sleeved white shirt with yellow stripes, green three-quarter length trousers, and black flip-flops.

The inspection revealed a wound on his left forehead, leading authorities to believe that he had been dead for no less than eight to nine hours. The news was broken to Siriporn, who was overcome with grief. She revealed that her husband was a mechanic in an animal feed production company.

...drinking alcohol in moderation will save you a lot of trouble and, above all, an early death.

Right, like we needed a reminder that that binge, heavy drinking is not good for you, I say, who ever drinks heavily not giving a sheet about the consequences of said partaking got it coming to him...(I expect several 'sad'a and 'confused' reaction here)

so drunk he fell into the sewer he was pissing in? is that divine comedy or poetic irony or the end of a limerick?
