webfact
A tense scenario unfolded on December 8, when a bank car operator found himself trapped inside his vehicle amidst a routine cash delivery at a Shell petrol station in Khlong Rang, Si Maha Phot, Prachinburi. The Rabao Phai police and rescue teams were alerted to the incident at approximately 1.30pm. Armed with specialist equipment, they hurried to the scene due to the diminishing oxygen levels inside the trapped vehicle. The distressing situation was recounted by Teerayut, a fellow operator who was working in tandem with the trapped guard. Their task was to replenish the gas station’s ATM with cash. While Teerayut was busy loading the ATM, his partner remained inside the vehicle, passing him the money. However, their smooth operation was abruptly interrupted when a gust of wind slammed the vehicle’s door shut, trapping the guard inside. Despite Teerayut’s best efforts, the door remained stubbornly shut. He promptly alerted the Safe Guard Transport Centre of the situation, but the company’s distance from the scene meant immediate help was not possible. by Top Top Picture courtesy of The Pattaya News Full story: The Thaiger 2023-12-11 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Wow, an armoured door slams shut from a gust of wind. 🤔 Something not right here.

The cash is kept in the back - it follows then, that the 'operative' who was passing the money was in the back - chai mai?

Thanks. I see now that the vehicle is a modified pickup so the cargo box in the back has no connection to the front compartment. The owners will need to modify the box if employees routinely work inside.
