roger101
Where to buy in Pattaya. I've looked for it but can't seem to find it now. Does anybody know where? It's not for a Christmas Cake but a bread pudding. I can make it without but I would rather include it.
Guderian
Lotus has plenty in its candied fruits section. I use the one on Sukhumvit, and the candied fruits are on the other side of the fresh fruit and vegetables area, before the dairy cabinets. Bags are priced by the kilo but sold with individual weights, so check the price on the bag. The candied pomelo peel is something else, really good. I always make a batch of crystallised ginger in dark chocolate for Christmas, which is why I know what's there at the moment. Bread and Butter Pudding is where it’s at 😊 1
champers
Raisins rather than candied peel for me in my bread and butter pud; more succulent. Each to their own.

He’s not referring to a Bread and butter pudding. Bread pudding is something different.

By the way, Lotus's (South Pattaya) didn't have any Candied Peel when I went yesterday.

Of course you don’t eat bread and butter pudding, it’s not made in Thailand 😊 If I was that way inclined, we’d have a bake-off and get members of the public to rate. I’d have all of the girls loving my creamy custard. Bread pudding… meh! They’d turn their noses up. Though to be fair, they don’t have to be that different from each other, dependent on how you make them. 😊
