How stupid is China for retaliating to Trumps tariffs?
15% loss of income will no hurt Xi. But it will hurt the average Chinese. Factories and production will slow. Lots of job losses. It will take many countries buying their products to meet the loss they will have from lack of sales in the US. Anyway, eventually one of those leaders. will fold. Either Xi will come to the negotiating table. Or Trump will cease trying to make the trading field even between countries. But I think Trump is playing a bigger field game and will not concede to China. Other countries are watching closely as well to see how Trump manages China. -

Trump’s Tariffs: A Chaotic Dream within a Lost Era
Well, to comment on tarriffs at this point is just senseless. Tarriffs take time to work and the chaos created is normal(IMHO). Those who reject the tarriffs just simply want to kick the can down the road and continue to enjoy the demise of America. I think what is scaring the lefty politicians the most is that if Trump pulls this off they will have a very hard time winning an election for a long time which is exactly what they deserve after the stupid sh*t they pulled at the border. -

Chinese Face Legal Action Over Dangerous Songkran Water Blasts
Whilst I agree that it is a dumb thing to do, this has been happening for years. The first (and last) time that I did Songkran in Pattaya one guy was being driven around and spraying everyone whilst sat on top of the truck. And he was a Brit. That was back in 2000. I suppose that what happens in Pattaya is not allowed in 'hallowed' Bangkok.
