Transport Ministry’s 14 projects, worth ฿570Bn to start next year

The Ministry of Transport has unveiled 14 infrastructure projects, estimated to cost 570 billion baht, which it plans to begin before the end of 2024, according to Transport Minister Suriya Juangroongruangkit.

 

The 14 projects are:

 

  • The 167km dual track railroad project between Khon Kaen and Nong Khai. Investment is estimated at about 29.7 billion baht.
  • The Orange Line train project between Bang Khun Non and Min Buri. Investment is estimated at about 140 billion baht and construction is expected to start in May.

Could spend that on instigating a proper driving test, with properly trained examiners. say from the UK. It beggars believe there is actually a Transport minister at all. 

 

Oh yippee more roadworks and falling cranes, dropping rail tracks, concrete structures, uncovered holes, badly signposted diversions if at all, cars driving off unfinished flyovers. he once paid  $9,5200 for a lucky number plate number 9999.
