Who says 'Merry Christmas' on 18th January?  Well this guy does.  Doooh.

And Christmas trees should be taken down on 6th January, twelfth night. (And probably put up again around 1st October!)

With Thailand's safety record, and it's lack of enforcement of laws, regulation, and rules....Who in their right mind would trust their lives anywhere near a fireworks facility here?

There are some dramatic 'before' and 'after' photos.

If there is anything positive in this disaster it is that the factory was situated remotely (from inhabitants) in rice fields.

The explosion at a fireworks factory in Nathirawat province last July was in a populated area, with fewer deaths but far more injuries.

It looked good though.  I pulled up a chair.
