Georgealbert Posted February 23 Share Posted February 23 Your extension of stay, will be granted until the expiry date of your passport, providing you meet all the other requirements to extend. This will then become your new renewal date. You do not get the extra month added when you get a new passport. Book time at the embassy now... There's two slots left in the end of March, else it's going to be in April. You be lucky to get your new passport in June I don't think it is that simple, you'll have to have a very good reason for replacing a 5 year passport that today has more than a year remaining of validity.
