Thai Birth Certificates

Hi,

My daughter was born in Thailand and was issued a birth certificate at the amphur office in Soi Aree. We have lost her certificate; can anyone tell me how we might go about getting a new one issued?

As i know,you can not ask for a new birth certification.But you can ask for a certified copy document.

First of all, you have to go to the police station and tell them that your daughter's birth certification is lost. They will give you a notification document

Then prepare some document as your ID card (your wife)+ a copy and the house registration documents +a copy

Finally, go to Amphur office.

I should have made my original post a little better by adding: we are now living in the UK and neither my wife nor I are Thai.
