Missing kittens

We had four lovely kittens. Black, white, three colors and two colors. First our favorite, the black one disappeared, and three weeks latter the white got missing.Neighbour told us that he has seen a big snake in our garden. Anybody had experience of a snake eating kittens? Is it possible? Now we have two kittens and another three week passed, let’s hope not another disappearing act. They are now 10 weeks old.

Yes, a larger snake can eat a kitten. There was a python near our neighbors house a few years ago big enough to be eating baby pigs :o

Try keeping them inside until they get bigger.

There were big snakes in the house we used to live in, two of our cats (not kittens) went missing. The neighbors said they once had a lot of cats but gave up after losing so many,

One day they came home and found a python eating one of the cats!

I always suspected it could have been a python, although there were also poisonous snakes in the area so maybe the cats could have been bitten?

Generally python. Most cats (dogs are another story) seem to keep their distance from snakes if given the chance. So, unless they stumbled on a cobra, I think they'd be alright. Pythons, on the other hand, would look at a cat or kitten as dinner :o

Do you think so? I've seen our cats chase and stalk snakes. In Australia our cat died after being bitten by a highly poisonous tiger snake.

The garden of our last house had green vipers, which are deadly (I think).

Well, my cat did. But then, perhaps that is why she lived to a ripe old age of 16 instead :o

Smart Cat! We've lost 3 cats without explanation, 2 were in our old house with the pythons and one in a new place. Soi dogs will attack and sometimes kill cats,
