Josh & Archie are no strangers to pulling off elaborate pranks, with a track record that includes tricking other notable figures like Carole Baskin and Katie Hopkins. A good percentage of Carlson's interviews are fake. The difference with this one is the Carlson was not aware he was being duped. The other ones he's the one duping the MAGA rubes. 

He's probably got one producer and she spends most of her time fighting off Tucker's "advances", so no time to vett guests.

 

He got pranked by putin a few weeks ago in a russian supermarket.
