At 9:00 AM, on March 21st, 2024, Tha Kham police officers received a report of a person with a firearm threatening to jump from the fourth floor of the Bang Khun Thian District Office, Rama 2 Road, Bangkok.

On the fourth floor of the District Office, a man, publicly identified only as Mr. Prawit, a 33-year-old food seller, was leaning against a wall. Tha Kham police attempted to negotiate with the man, however, the man refused.

The Tha Kham police contacted Prawit’s wife to calm him down and after a two-hour negotiation, Prawit agreed to cooperate with the police. Prawit was taken into custody and escorted to Tha Kham police station.

Shoot him with a tranquilliser dart, it's a 50 / 50 chance he may not topple off the landing.

The police could act as bookmakers taking bets  :whistling:
