AverageAussie
With so many poles around Thailand carrying literally dozen/s of lines, I'm surprised that this incidence of multiple poles being downed doesn't happen more often. Knock over just one or two and the combined weight of those pulls down others in a domino effect. powerlines.mp4
Captain Monday
They run in US too probably arrest warrants already or day drinking. The old wooden poles don't pull down a whole line when they are snapped? https://www.facebook.com/380271661513768/videos/298825943082450/

I think the record remains fifty-seven downed poles with an accident on Srinkarin Road, a few years ago. 1 2 7
Hakuna Matata
The driver must have been using his smartphone while driving. This is my guess. So many traffic accidents are now happening because of smartphones.

Yes, remember that one too. It has to be a world record. I often wonder how much cumulative weight is in the cables and how that compares to the poles. Those stresses will still be okay whilst the pole is vertical, but once there are lateral forces applied that's a recipe for disaster.
Hamus Yaigh
Perhaps the driver was confused by listening to news from the home front where the Ruskies are currently tasked with taking out power supplies in major cities.
