hello, im just getting ready to go back to Chiang Mai to make a settlement visa for my wife, know i pretty much have everything i need except for my birth certificate, is it needed also will i have to get my thai wifes birth certificate translated in to english, any help and info on this would be much appreciated thanks :o

Neither birth certificates are required for a settlement visa application, the passports/ copies suffice for that. see Settlement visa documents

In which case Mahout Angrit is correct, birth certificates are not required.
