Does anyone know of Thai Health Insurance that covers up to a few million baht if you have to go into intensive care for a prolonged period even if it has a big excess. ? My ex thai bupa policy costs me baht 165k per year but only covers for a max of 240k in the IC.

There area number of them.

 

- April Insurance (Thailand) - pops up a lot on this forum (they rejected a claim I  made though, so I'll not use them again). 

- Luma (Wife and Son are with them - Premium about US$3000 for both) - seems OK - Inpatient cover only & no medication (up to US$3 Million per year)... 

 

There are plenty of options in the same ball park for solid cover, but as the age increases so do the premiums as does the probability of a local insurer just cutting you off at xx age (i..e 65 or 70 etc).
