Actually, looks like you're woefully ignorant of Israeli cuisine. In fact Ashkenazi cuisine provided the early institutional foundation of Israeli food, introducing iconic dishes like schnitzel, matzo ball soup, latkes and kugel that remain national staples today. Like Ashkenazi cuisine, Israeli cuisine is massively derivative, there is really nothing that originated from Israel. Apart from some toasted rice substitute that nobody likes.
