Legendary Liverpool Players Meet Thai PM Srettha Thavisin

Renowned former Liverpool players, Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, and Michael Owen, met with Thailand's Prime Minister, Srettha Thavisin, at Government House on May 3.

The Liverpool legends presented the PM with an official red t-shirt of the English Premier League football club, bearing the number 30 and his name, Thavisin.

Dressed in black t-shirts with 'Amazing Thailand' imprinted on them, the trio are in Thailand for Liverpool fan club events over the weekend. They expressed their enthusiasm to savour Thai food and visit Phuket.

Prime Minister Srettha proposed the idea of a friendly football match in Thailand, involving either Liverpool and Manchester United or ex-Liverpool players between the ages of 40 and 60.

This prospect recognises the substantial fan base both premier league teams have in the Southeast Asian nation.

Earlier in 2022, a pre-season match between Liverpool and Manchester United was held at Bangkok's Rajamagala stadium, with Manchester United emerging victorious with a 4-0 win.

How amazing, and really important to the Thai government. Especially the shirt with his name. That one will make him a much better politician. Unfortunately, they can´t value the shirt over the allowed amount, as it then could be seen as a bribe. Then again, a bribe for what? Totally useless!

As a blue, I will pass.....

I can still recall the day old square jaw wanted to buy Liverpool for the country.

Ended up with City and made a fat big profit ..........

Whatever this little event cost, was a waste of someone else's money.

Srettha propose ideas on the assembly line, knowing that he doesn't have to implement them. populist politician up to the top:coffee1:

The way Liverpool FC has been playing lately these three might be needed at Anfield on Sunday! 555

They didn't show the footage of the whole lot of them swooning like school girls at their first Elvis concert.

Don’t forget Khun Thaksin wanted to buy over Liverpool FC back then
