In a scene that seems ripped from a horror film, a 43-year-old man named Ad from Udon Thani, Thailand, claims he has been tormented by insects crawling out of his skin for over two months. The afflicted believes this bizarre condition is a result of black magic rather than any medical ailment.

The peculiar story emerged on social media when Panumart Jitwasinkul, a local known for his prominent Facebook page, was approached by a traditional healer, Mor Pla. They aimed to assist Ad, who insisted his suffering was due to dark magic.

Ad shared harrowing accounts of experiencing pain and discomfort as various insects, including ticks and lice, seemingly exited his skin, often forcing him to apply topical medicine for temporary relief. To validate these claims, reporters visited Ad’s home near Nong Ta Kai Pond in Udon Thani, where they witnessed his unsettling procedures to expel the insects.

Ad recounted that the ordeal began with what appeared to be insect eggs on his head. Despite initially finding temporary relief using kaffir lime, the insects continued to emerge relentlessly. His distress has escalated to the point where he cannot work, eat properly, or wear clothes without further aggravating the creatures.

Despite admitting to past drug use, Ad vehemently denies that his symptoms are drug-induced hallucinations, stating he has been clean for some time. However, his family, including his uncle Kamphiw and aunt Ratchanee, speculates that his suffering might be linked to mental health issues rather than a supernatural curse.

Kamphiw noted that Ad's condition may have psychological roots, exacerbated by stress from family problems and job-related anxieties. Ad, once a hardworking construction worker and moneylender, spiralled into depression and substance abuse following his separation from his wife two years ago.

While Ad’s claims have drawn a blend of concern and disbelief from locals and online followers, many urge him to seek medical attention, underscoring the critical importance of addressing mental health issues with professional help.

But this is rather easy. Just take the guy to hospital in isolation, and monitor if any insects crawling out of his skin.

Or give him a good hot shower.

Does anyone else find these statements contradictory? Why would the family not believe him. If he had a stranger witness it then why not the family? Also, why has noone taken him to a hospital or real doctor to find the reasons this is happening?

Wonder if he has been in my pump room because something crawls out of there everyday, and now it must be the most toxic place in the land, recommend he tries the orange can of bug slayers, it will sort anything smaller than an elephant out for good 🤔
