Why are there never enough electrical wall receptacles in most Thai homes?

Any idea?

Do they think that....

The fewer the receptacles, then the more money they will save on saved electrical power usage, or something?

This is not only true of Thailand, but also true of SE Asia, East Asia, except, maybe Japan.

So, why is this?

EVEN WHEN the electrical power is not down, still you got not enough receptacles, IMHO....

Again...

Why is this?

Gamma

Note:  I got wires strewn all of the place from one wall outlet to power the electronics in my house.

Did they never think that I might trip and fall over these?

What a pointless hazard to life an limb!

Note2:  NO ROOM should be built without at least about 35 wall sockets, ALL GROUNDED, IMHO....

What say you?

Cost primarily..........I am sure if you offered to pay for the extra outlet, it would be in place almost the same day.

Other than that, the "never enough outlets" applies wherever one resides, not only Thailand.

When we do the rough in on new homes, we try to suggest where additional outlets would be a good move.

Adding afterwards is ALWAYS more costly.

However, even though the cost of an extra point or two during construction might be extremely minimal compared to the overall, cost when building can spiral out of control.
