A 40-year-old shuttle bus driver has been arrested over allegations that he abducted an 11-year-old girl with the intent of sexually assaulting her. The girl's parents reported the incident, which occurred in a rental property in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, Chon Buri on May 13. The girl's younger brother reportedly interrupted the alleged assault and alerted authorities.

 

The police, led by Police Colonel Tawee Kudthalaeng and Police Lieutenant Colonel Somchok Fukphairoj, were able to execute an arrest warrant issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court. The suspect, identified as Chaowit, was arrested at the scene of the incident. Although he did not resist the arrest, Chaowit denied the allegations during the initial questioning at Nong Prue Police Station.

 

The charges against him include the abduction of a child under the age of 15 for lewd acts, and committing indecent acts against a child under 13 years old through threats or violence.

 

The authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident. They are gathering additional evidence and statements to aid their case. The incident has sparked discussions about community safety and child protection in the area. The authorities have stressed the importance of conducting a thorough investigation to ensure justice is served for everyone involved.

He was the step grandfather, and was living with her grand parents, but good point where were the parents. There are 2 links to the story on AN but you will have to search the site to find it, as with Many other stories here.

I believe this is the arrest. 

And the photo is of a farang leading a farang girl away?

The inference would normally be that it was a farang but I don't know any called Chaowit!

so many women available and they have to go abuse an 11 year old...

That video actually looks more like a shot of an earthquake than an arrest.  I was getting vertigo just watching it!
