June 2 at 23.45, Phet Samut Center Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department were informed that there was a house fire and 1 resident was trapped inside the building.
 

The incident occurred at Soi Chum Sai Telephone Soi 1, Mae Klong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Songkhram.

 

At the scene the house was found to be totally engulfed in fire, so emergency responders required additional support from nearby agencies and various volunteer foundation rescue teams.

 

Responders were able to prevent the fire from spreading but took 3 hours to bring the fire under control. On searching the scene a body was found in the burnt remains of the building. The cause of the fire is under investigation by forensic teams.
