Srettha turns to Wissanu for legal advice amid Pichit controversy

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin is preparing his defense concerning the controversial appointment of Pichit Chuenban as a minister in the PM’s Office. To assist him, Srettha has sought advice from his new adviser, Wissanu Krea-ngam. Although a defense has been prepared, it still needs honing before being presented to the Constitutional Court by June 10.

A Swedish tourist's wild antics involving stolen motorcycles and car crashes ended with him in police custody early Sunday morning, in the city of Pattaya, Thailand. Identified as 34-year-old Oliver Joakim Stare, the tourist was spotted shirtless on a surveillance camera.

The Thai government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is vigorously working to enhance its workforce by attracting skilled foreign professionals. As of 4th June, Chaiwut Watanakun, the Prime Minister's spokesman, announced that Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has spearheaded efforts to improve Thailand's competitiveness in the global economy.

Bangkok woman contracts rare lung infection from feeding pigeons

A Bangkok woman who regularly fed pigeons unknowingly inhaled fungal spores, leading to a lung infection and requiring surgery to remove a mass. Despite having no symptoms, she was diagnosed with cryptococcal pneumonia, which had formed a cavity in her lung.

Man fatally stabbed after stopping to help stranger in Buriram

A tragic incident occurred involving the son of a sub-district assistant village headman, who was fatally stabbed at a roadside pavilion after stopping to help out a stranger who was seemingly in need. One of his friends was also injured in the unprovoked attack in Buriram.

American Tourist Dies After Falling Off a Hotel Balcony in Pattaya

A US tourist was discovered dead on Tuesday morning after a fall from the seventh floor of a hotel in Pattaya. The Pattaya police received a call about the incident around 6:06 AM on June 4th. They, along with rescue workers, rushed to the unnamed hotel situated on Soi Thappraya 15. There they found the body of the deceased, a 43-year-old American named Michael Jeffery Bruggink.
