mcd Posted July 29, 2007 Share Posted July 29, 2007 A bizarre case now from Pattaya Police Station which begun at Mike Shopping Mall in South Pattaya. Inside the Mall on the second floor is a cloths shop selling designer swim suits and just before the Mall closed for the night, Mr. Sergay Suprenenko aged 37 from Russia visited the store with two Russian Friends. Khun Wanwisar aged 27 who works in the shop thought she saw Mr. Suprenenko placing a woman’s swimsuit down the front of his trousers. He then left the shop making no attempt to pay for the item. Security Guards were called and detained the suspected thief who was then arrested by Police and taken to the Stationhouse. Mr. Suprenenko confessed to stealing the item and a deal was struck between the suspect and the shop that he would pay 10 times the value of the item to clear the case. Numpty ended up agreeing to pay 10 times the cost of the girls swimsuit he tried to steal ! 10,500 baht for a swimsuit he could have probably bought on the street for 300 baht.
