21 Cats Die in House Fire

Featured Replies

July 8, at 22:20 A fire broke out in a four-story building in the Don Mueang area, leading to the tragic deaths of 21 cats. Police Captain Thepputthipong Sinsibphumi from Don Mueang Police Station received a report of the fire in Soi Chang Akat Uthit 15, Don Mueang District, Bangkok. Firefighters and rescue teams from Don Mueang Station and volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation were promptly dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and flames emanating from the second floor. After quickly containing the fire, they discovered the heartbreaking scene of 21 cats dead from smoke inhalation. Additionally, five cats were found suffering from smoke inhalation, and emergency responders provided them with oxygen to save their lives.

Authorities are currently investigating the building owner to determine the cause of the fire. Initial suspicions suggest an electrical short circuit. Forensic officers will be called in to conduct a thorough investigation to confirm the exact cause of the fire.

The community mourns the loss of these beloved pets, and efforts are ongoing to ensure the safety of any other animals and residents in the area.

Twenty-six cats.  The kitty litter tray might have spontaneously combusted. :coffee1:
