Residents Complain About Aggressive Foreign Mafia in Pattaya, Upset Over Thai Drivers Revving Engines

Today (July 10, 2024), Mr. Sompong, a 43-year-old chicken rice vendor, reported aggressive behavior by foreigners who have been causing disturbances and intimidating both locals and other foreigners.

Mr. Sompong provided a video showing a group of foreigners assaulting another foreigner, leaving the victim unconscious on the ground.

Mr. Sompong explained that while he was setting up his food stall, he noticed a confrontation between foreigners, particularly a group from the Middle East driving a black SUV.

The altercation escalated, resulting in one foreigner being knocked out. The incident appeared to be related to a dispute over a woman, as seen in the video where a woman was being pulled by her arm.

The troublemakers frequently loiter near Mr. Sompong’s stall. The issue seems to stem from a previous incident where Mr. Sompong helped resolve a minor car accident involving the aggressors, leading to a compensation payment.

This may have caused ongoing resentment, with the aggressors often driving by his stall and revving their engines to intimidate him, reported CH7 news.

While Mr. Sompong was being interviewed, the aggressive foreigners drove by in an unregistered car, making gestures and revving their engine, causing fear among the local residents.

The injured victim, a Kuwaiti national, reported the assault to the Pattaya City Police. The police sent him to the hospital for treatment and will take his statement later.

They are also investigating the incident, gathering evidence from witnesses and CCTV footage to track down the perpetrators.

...perhaps Mr. Sompong should've kept his nose out of it to begin with?

Yeah, we should all just stand around and look at violence and never do anything to help the victim, right? That´s the act of cowards, and as though as you always sound Bob, then I didn´t think you belonged to them.

So, once again we have an answer that goes back to everything between the 16th to 17th century. I am explaining this in every post, that there is a big difference between then and today. At that time almost all countries were at war now and then to gain more land and power.

Today, we have a more developed society with all from better understanding to international organizations to deal with this. We are also more educated. What you are doing is comparing something we call colonization and settlement with thug, mafia and insurgency, which is something that today fall under criminal activities.

That's the Thai way!

They have phd's in looking the other way.

didn't you know that?

Colonization and settlement from the past was in part criminal activity. This is a major reason there are so many large holdings in the US. Relatives of these rich were scamming and killing off their neighbors to increase their property size. What we have today is the result of that criminal activity. People who's relatives started out with 80 acres ended up with a million and sometimes more. This happened long before oil was mined.

The Christians are responsible for more bombings on kids per day currently, in Ukraine and they are Christian made bombs being dropped on the Gazan women and children.

But i suppose that pales into insignificance when compared to a fist fight over a woman in Pattaya right?

Huh?

It's over when they release the hostages. Until then, they deserve what they purchased on October 7th.

Yes, it totally fades away, with absolutely no relation to this thread. My post was made to point out how they organize themselves in every country they come to, and use violence as a daily routine among regular citizens and people of other beliefs.

However, we can go along with you irrelevant BS. Regarding Ukraine and Russia you are dragging a war into a discussion where a certain religion can never accept the ways in the countries they come to. Or maybe you see it as there is a war between Thailand and the Muslim population in the world, and that makes everything legitimized? Alternatively you believe Malaysia have Declared war against Thailand? Regarding bombs dropped in Gaza, is it Christians dropping them?

I am sure that even Bin Laden could not commit the massacres that the Europeans living in Mexico and Colombia have committed.  But they are Christians, they cannot be terrorists. They are either CARTEL or MAFIA! They have to be Muslims for the hypocritical Europeans to call them terrorists!  Crime is individual. In 2024 you haven't even learned this. You are trying to give a lesson in civilization here, you funnyman 🙂

Sure they did. First, they elected Hamas to run their country (LOL), then they backed them for 18 years, and, to this day, won't tell the IDF where they're hiding the hostages. So every day they don't give up the location of the hostages, they're helping Hamas whether they're holding a gun or not.

There is a specific topic for this elsewhere......

I believe Kuwaitis are involved here, not members of Hamas and the IDF.

You haven't ever been to the location or seen these people, have you?

These are predominately teenagers just having fun riding around. Not interested in violence nor criminality. That's why you very rarely read about them, other than riding around on motorcycles being a bit of a nuisance. More likely they will be supporting local businesses. Local 'Mango with sticky rice and coconut milk' stand does a roaring business when they are in town. You won't see them in bars, fighting and feeling up women for hire. Yet, you felt compelled to refer to them as horrible, violent human beings. Quite disgusting, but not surprising from you sitting behind your keyboard with no real life experience of the subject.
