Where to Buy New Brushes for Stabalisers

Recommended Posts

have old Lioa stabalisers. They don't seem to be available in Thailand anymore ( they probably are but I can't find them).

I want to change the brushes.

Is there a specialist shop that sells brushes?  If so could I have their contact info.20240716_155055.thumb.jpg.7e279f92460716aa9e8d6f3a64901b8f.jpg20240716_154855.thumb.jpg.b983db5587d779ed38c2b62ebce4ae91.jpg

What is a stabaliser? If you mean a stabiliser then you find dozens of youtube videos and places where you buy repair equipment.

Looks like a simple job, if you know what you are doing, to make new brushes from carbon rod, or adapt a pair of the many many motor brushes available in hardware stores everywhere.

"Is there a specialist shop that sells brushes?  If so could I have their contact info." No pun intended I assume...

If you have the old brushes, just take them down to a motor shop. Or buy oversized brushes and cut them down. They file or grind down pretty easy.

Yes, can also use a carbon block cut and filed to shape. I was hoping there may be a specialist shop like there are electric motor shops and SS screw shops. 🙂
