Quick car 2mb-3mb new or used what would you get? (Fun ice car not EV)

So i am looking at getting a new or used car or even Ford Raptor
What would you buy ideally around 2mb maximum
Please do not say a byd or other electric car,

i know they are quick but there’s no comparison with a light-weight, nimble sports-car powered by a high-revving gas powered engine. There’s a special connection between a driver and a high-strung sports-car that you will NEVER get with an electric car. That said, most people are not drivers… they’re commuters… in which case, an electric car is perfect.

As the previous owner of a new Porsche Taycan Turbo, I can tell you that you're talking absolute rubbish.

 

However, if it's got to be a noisy, vibrating, polluting vehicle with 100 times more moving parts than an EV, then under 2M baht it would be a Ford Raptor if money for fuel was no object, or a Mercedes Benz C350e or E300e.  The latter of these 2 is available at 25% off list brand new and you could bargain hard for a demonstrator.  They are both PHEV's and much more of a driver's car than the Ranger. If you don't like PHEV's, don't plug it in, it's not mandatory.

 

There isn't really anything else I would entertain, I already have the best EV under 2M baht, the BYD Seal Performance, every bit a driver's car, they call it a Sports Saloon and that is exactly what it is.

Did you miss the bit about no BYD sh7t!
I have been in one and driven it around corners at speed and yes it is very quick but probably due to the huge amount of weight from the batteries it felt awful

Anyway no need to reply about BYD this is for cars not chineese toys.

Triton is good value and a good car, and money saved. I have a few km in Thailand with big bike, and yes, I might passed you on the road. The best trick to stay alive is to keep the traffic behind you 😉

EV’s corner as well or better than ICE because of the low center of gravity.

 

The BYD Seal Performance is set up to drift and steer by throttle.

Apart from all the stray dogs and lack of driving skills I don't fancy it .

Big bikes are great but way to dangerous here.

Still my solution, car 1 mill and motorbike for the rest. In fact I had one csr 4 motorbikes for a total price of one mill or so

Yes in Europe it would be nice but this is one of the worst places for bikes
Just went for a 1 hour drive today and have seen 2 bikes on the floor only honda wave /click style but that was at low speeds .

I used to ride a Kawasaki Versys here in Thailand.  Too many of my friends have been killed on their bikes, I found I was using it less and less, worrying about the unpredictable Somchai, so I sold it.  I have a scooter now but I only use it riding around the housing estate where I live.

 

I saw a fatal accident at the weekend.  Mostly due to a bad road design, a U-Turn from the outside lane 200m before traffic lights, no filter lane.  A motorbike was trying to use the U-Turn, Somchai in his pickup thought the right indicator of the bike was for the lights 200m further and wiped him out.  Hundreds of flowers on the central reservation yesterday.

 

It's not worth riding on public roads here.  I know of at least half a dozen people killed in Chiang Rai on their bikes.

I don't believe he has ever been in an EV, he believes they don't corner, handle well or be fun to drive when the truth is the opposite.

I have a Mazda MX-5 that I love. Not love but luuurrrrv it. It is a driver's car. Sticks to the road like glue. Looks beautiful, which was why I fell in love with it, and would recommend it to anyone. I have the version with the hard reclining roof (RF) as my wife was concerned that the soft top would be too easy for thieves to cut. I don't regret it. Fuel economy on long journeys can get to over 14 km/Lt but I only drive it weekends.

The reason Thais don't buy it (I was told) is that it only has two seats and they can't get mum, dad and kids in. The price starts at below 3 million Baht.

I also get it serviced at the Mazda dealer where I bought it and have no problem with it or the people who service it.

Ground clearance is 135 mm. 17 inch wheels so not too low. Have taken it on country roads where it excels. Would never take it across a field.

Yes i was close to buying one but also concerned about maintenance .
Depreciation happens on all cars 
Always had Bmw's back in the UK but they never seemed to go wrong like they do out here.
Saying that they didn't have all the tech to go wrong that modern cars have
