North pattaya bus station transfer to hotel?
Soooooo, for about the price of a beer from 7 11 you'll use a taxi instead. I'd prefer the reason to be because the songtheaw drivers are rude, pack too many people into their vehicles, won't take you to the actual hotel ( leave you on the main road near the hotel ), take too long etc, but that's just me. I think the price was 100 baht about 5 years ago, but that could be just my bad memory. In the good old days it was 20 baht from bus station to the hotel. -

These days nearly all Schengen visas have to be done by VFS and if they accept the documents then the visa is virtually guaranteed. That being said I try as much as possible to use refundable options in travel arrangements, you never know what may arise and flexability can be a great asset. It is certainly not an issue in respect of the visa application. -

so your friend stayed in Thailand from dec 2023 to june 2024? that should not result in a refusal of entry. What does his history of stays look like? I am guessing he has been in Thailand many times during several years staying for long stretches? Did he get warned before the denial? Usually the IO will tell you to get a visa, and if you still try your chances with an exempt after that... then thats on you. -
