Haley Urges Republican Party to Shift Focus to Win November Election

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley has called for a strategic shift within the Republican Party, emphasizing the need to concentrate on key demographics if they want to secure a victory in the upcoming November election. In an interview with Fox News's Bret Baier, Haley highlighted the importance of moving away from trivial talking points and instead focusing on substantive policy issues that resonate with voters.

Haley, who has become an influential voice within the Republican Party, advised former President Donald Trump to abandon discussions that have little relevance to the everyday concerns of the American people. She pointed out that comparing crowd sizes or engaging in other superficial debates does not address the pressing issues that voters care about. "I think what they want is someone who’s going to care about them," Haley stated. "They want someone who’s focused. They want someone who’s going to talk about the status of education right now in this country and that our kids are getting dumber, not smarter. They want someone to talk about homeownership and how hard it is to own a home."

Haley underscored that voters are looking for leaders who will address the economic challenges they face, particularly the rising cost of living. "They want someone to talk about the fact that prices have gone up 19 percent, and they can’t do anything about it. They want someone to talk about how we’re going to prevent war. Those are the things," she continued, emphasizing the need for the Republican Party to pivot towards these critical issues.

According to Haley, the upcoming election is indeed winnable for Trump and the Republican Party, but only if they focus on appealing to the specific voter blocs that are currently trending in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris. "Look, this is a winnable election, but you need to focus. Who is your target market? Your target market is suburban women, college-educated, independents and conservative Democrats. That’s your target market," Haley asserted.

The Trump campaign was reportedly taken by surprise by Harris's rapid rise in polling numbers, which nearly erased Trump's lead over President Joe Biden when she entered the race. Haley's advice comes at a crucial time as the former president's campaign works to regain momentum and widen the gap in the polls.

During her own primary run, Haley was highly critical of Trump, suggesting that he was too old and not what the country needed at the time. However, since ending her primary bid, Haley has softened her stance, endorsing Trump in May. Her endorsement could potentially bring over a base of more moderate Republicans who align with her vision for the party's future.

Haley also remarked that she anticipated the shift from Biden to Harris as the primary candidate for the Democrats, a shift that she made a central theme of her GOP primary campaign. Her foresight in recognizing Harris's potential appeal may further solidify her role as a key strategist within the Republican Party as they navigate the challenges leading up to the November election.

She is so correct. However, nothing she says will change his course. He's old, he's tired, he's now the oldest person to ever run for president, he's feels like he's 85 or 90 right now, he seems to be losing interest, he seems to be losing the plot, his message is getting tired, he has no ability to dance on his feet and be creative, and adapt, and he just seems to be disintegrating before our eyes, which is a beautiful thing to watch. He has no policy. He has no ideas. All he has are his false criticisms, his increasing paranoia, and his made up lies. People are getting tired of hearing it.

I look forward to the humiliation of a lifetime in November, then his dismissal from relevance, as a two time loser.

Good luck on that. Trump at his ripe old age of 78 ain't going to change his demeanour, behavior nor his discipline. He can have a teleprompter in front to guide him and he will still veered of course. He made little effort to stay on topic. That is part of his DNA to speak off the cuff and get carried away with personal attack, lies and hyperbole. His North Caroline rally was billed as a big economic address but little was delivered and instead his speech was filled with familiar off-script tangents on Kamala laugh and on the inane mechanics of wind energy. He will lose the election and he will blame VD Vance but not himself.

Too funny!  Everything she mentioned, every single thing, Trump could care less about.  He lives for the trivial, the unimportant.   Instead of focusing on what's important, he spends his time thinking of new names to insult people with and new lies to tell, with, of course, massive grifting thrown in.   Crowd sizes?  Don't even think of telling Donald they are not important!

She still supports Trump for POTUS - hoping for Secretary of State?

Lol! I do not think it is possible to change Trump's focus! He is clueless about most things. He is an ignorant fool!

Shameless.

"They want someone to talk about the fact that prices have gone up 19 percent, and they can’t do anything about it. "

And there's nothing anyone can do about that. Those prices won't come down. The<y'll only continue rising more slowly. Haley makes it sound like the Reps have a solution to the 19%. They don't. And if anyone says they do, they don't understand economics (or business).

The real worry for me is that the Trump will grasp he's gonna lose and chicken out (he is a gross coward in all respects, like every bully), or the Rep's'll grow spines and quit groveling (vomitous degenerate behavior by so many of them) and switch him, say for Haley/De Santis.

But don't forget Haley has also groveled before his majesty and endorsed him as well ... they're all as bad as the creeps Johnson used to wheel out every morning in the UK to tell his obvious and bloated lies to millions on TV. No shame. No sense of personal dignity. Of simple human decorum. Any of them.

The Rep's'll probably need a completely new makeover that isn't tainted by obeisance to the Don. And I don't see anyone in sight right now.
