She would be advised to have cash (won't be necessary but good idea) She won't need proof of accommodation however if asked travel plans then just the truth. She is visiting husband staying there. -

I thought it was fairly open knowledge that those in positions of decision making authority such as Anutin have very close ties (and partnerships) with many Marijuana projects (plantations) across the borders in Laos and Myanmar.... ... I have very little doubt that the personal gain / profitability of Marijuana for those in decision making power was the primary factor in Thailands sudden onset of such a loose and deregulated approach by a government normally known for its authoritarian and strictly unwavering governance. -

Pattaya Bar/Go-Go Death Watch
Another bar that never seemed to have any customers! I've looked in a couple of times and seen no reason to stay. There are so many bars in that area that unless the town is teeming with visitors, just don't have an edge to hold customers. I've visited loads of them had one drink and got bored so left. Another one in LK is Shaggers - gets a good write-up on here, but every time I've passed it, just a few bored-looking women outside staring at their phones. OTOH, Time Bar, with its attractive prices, is usually so full that it's hard to get a seat - the women there are out in the street waylaying guys to come in, and when you do, actually make the effort to talk to customers. -

Liquid limits at airport security...
The 100ml liquid container size was implemented several years ago when a group of muslim terrorists located in I think London booked airtickets on five seperate flights to the USA. Their strategy was to get drink containers and they drilled a hole in the bottom of the container so as not to tamper with the seal at neck of bottle which they were then going to refill with an explosive mix. They were at a very advanced stage in their planning and this was only thwarted at a very late stage. They would obviously carry the other required items like power source and timers seperate from the drink container and assemble at a later stage. They exploded one of the drink bottles in an airframe and the damage was extensive. This was the reason behind the 100ml container size.
