My brand new 2,500 baht sandals were stolen from outside of a massage parlour years ago. This was a time when western size sandals were hard to get in thailand. And being a walker good, comfortable sandals are hard to come by. The massage parlour owner however saved the day by giving me a 20 baht pair of oversized, ratty sandals to compensate for the theft. -
