Social Media Outrage as Tourists Blatantly Urinates on Pattaya Beach
Pattaya — Thai social media users are outraged after a video surfaced online showing male tourists blatantly urinating on Pattaya Beach. The video, posted by a Facebook user with the caption “Swimmers swim, and urinators urinate,” quickly went viral in a popular Pattaya Facebook group with over 200,000 members. The incident sparked widespread outrage, with many Thais, especially Pattaya locals, questioning why the beachgoer didn’t use the available restrooms. They also expressed concerns that the tourists’ reckless behaviors could ruin Pattaya’s reputation as a world-class family friendly tourist destination and deter other tourists from visiting Pattaya City. Local journalists went to investigate the incident scene and confirmed that it took place on Pattaya Beach. Two Iranian Thieves Arrested for Targeting Chinese Tourists in Bangkok
Police in Bangkok's Thonglor District have arrested two Iranian men who befriended Chinese tourists and secretly stole cash from them. The suspects have a history of similar offenses. On September 17th, Pol. Col. Pansa Amarapithak, head of Thonglor Police Station, along with Pol. Lt. Col. Akkaraphon Thanatham, Deputy Superintendent of Thonglor Investigation, instructed Pol. Capt. Mana Maseung, Chief Investigator, to lead the arrest. They apprehended Mr. Dinavar Siavas Mohammad, 29, and Ms. Mizaniaparco Fatemi Ali, 41, both Iranian nationals, in front of a condominium in Yanawa Subdistrict, Sathon District, Bangkok. The incident began when the two suspects approached Chinese tourists standing outside a hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 20, pretending to talk about currency exchange and asking to see their cash. They returned most but not all of the money. The victims later found 10,000 baht missing and reported it to Thonglor Police. Further investigation revealed that the suspects committed another similar theft in the Asoke area, running off with more money. Security camera footage helped track them to the mentioned condominium, where they were captured just as they were preparing to flee back to Iran. Initially, both suspects denied the accusations. However, the police investigation indicated that they are experienced criminals with a history of such actions. The police have charged them with theft and will proceed with legal action. LONELINESS: Why have I NEVER been lonely in Asia? (But lonely every moment in the USA...)
My Dear Friends, Are you like me? One who was lonely, every day of my life, in America, but never, EVER, lonely in Asia. Why is this, do you imagine? My personal opinion is that this LONELINESS stems from excessive Other-Directedness in western societies such as America. Do you also think so?.... HERE is what I am talking about, just a blurb about a book I read in High School: Yes...FOLKS..... I first read THIS book....in High School....which....in intervening years...has come to be seen as somewhat of PIVOTAL book.... I know that you know I am talking about the One and Only great book: Look It.... You guys probably know, by now, that I am one of the very Few Great Thinkers on this TV Farang Pub.... Just admit it..... And so, I am just suggesting that we are fortunate to be here, in Asia, where guys like you are less lonely they we might otherwise have been....IF... We had remained in America, rather than traveling here to Asia....many, MANY, years ago. I first came here in 1970. And, I knew that Asia was for me. I was here in Thailand, in 1971, for example... Eating buffalo steaks. And smoking up a storm, for about two days. And going to BKK, to watch the fights. Super cool women sitting in the front row, on the arms of American Service Men, back in the day....as I do recall. So, anyway.... America was, at that time, already, an exceedingly LONELY place. And, since those days, America has become even MORE lonely, if you can even imagine the possibility. I would say that THIS is the MAIN reason that I will NEVER return to America or Canada....because..... North America is just to FING lonely for my taste.... What about you? Do you KNOW that what I say is absolutely true? Or, do you have a different opinion? Maybe you are lonely here? Here, in a place where I have NEVER experienced even one-half of a lonely day during my entire time in Asia. What say you? Maybe JingThing has a different perspective than I? Who knows.....
