AIS App not loading.
Thank you for this. A big clue, as I have Avast, which uses exactly the same engine as AVG. I have found a solution which works with Avast, and will probably work with AVG too. If you revoke all of the antivirus app's permissions in the Accessibility menu (Settings > Accessibility > Installed apps) then the AIS app loads quite smoothly. (This accessibility permission is required by Avast/AVG to run the Web Shield function which checks out internet connections, links etc. It seems that Avast and AVG (maybe others) are not allowing MyAIS to connect to the net.) -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
I got my DTV eVisa within hours of submitting the application online. This is through the same consulate (Canada) that usually took at least 10-15 days when I applied for the tourist visa. YMMV. I applied in the workcation category. Documents submitted were a PDF cover letter on business letterhead stating my business name and website URL, and a list of included documents. The included documents in the same PDF were my business registration, website screenshot, domain renewal receipt (to prove I own the website), and a billing report showing active customers by country. Probably more than needed but I didn't want to leave anything to chance. For the 500k baht requirement I submitted my latest monthly bank statement. For the proof of current residence I submitted an image of my drivers license. -

Unsure why 90-day online notify rejected
Happy ending all around. Last time (2021) I sent mine by mail, I was actually called, and they said I have to come in person. Said I had an accident and can't walk for at least two weeks. It was returned and approved 2 days later. -

Following from the above post, an article from RBC-Ukraine stating: "Sources told RBC-Ukraine that the attack on the warehouse was a special operation of Ukrainian defenders, involving the Security Service of Ukraine, Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Special Operations Forces. It is confirmed that the attack targeted the warehouse of the Missile and Artillery Department, where the Russians stored missiles for Iskander tactical systems, KN23 ballistic missiles, missiles for Tochka-U tactical missile systems, guided aerial bombs, S-300s, and artillery ammunition. According to sources, more than a hundred attack drones were involved". Russia claims that 54 drones were "destroyed". Possibly when they hit their targets and exploded.
