Anyone have any experience with Gel batteries in their bike? Do they last longer? The normal batteries seem to last me 2-3 years. Not that worried about the price but they are around 3 times the price.

I had one in my zuki 500 in the US, didn’t last longer and certainly not worth the extra cost. The price of acid batteries here are cheap and haven’t noticed a less of average quality as in the US. What I really would like to find is a source for Panasonic automotive and motorcycle batteries.

I would buy the cheaper one  3 years is about the norm  before they start  not keeping charge  I doubt  that a gel one lasts 3 times as long  thus not really worth the price.
