The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) at 11.00 on September 23, successfully carried out a rescue operation to assist around 50 stranded tourists from Doi Khun Tan National Park. The tourists were left unable to leave the area due to a road blockage caused by flooding and landslides, which had cut off access routes.

 

 


SRT dispatched heavy-duty maintenance trains to the site, ensuring the safe transportation of the tourists to Hang Chat Station in Lampang Province. All individuals involved in the operation were safely transferred, with no reports of injuries or serious incidents.

 

The State Railway of Thailand has emphasised its commitment to supporting and providing assistance to all citizens and tourists affected by such emergencies. day.

 

This quick response highlights the dedication of the SRT to public safety and its readiness to respond to emergencies in remote locations, ensuring that help reaches those in need, even in challenging conditions like the mountainous terrain of Doi Khun Tan.
