Can't Sign in into my Google Account without the 8-digit backup code

I am trying to sign in into my google account with 2-Step verification ON. I need to first provide the email and password and after that I need an 8-digit backup code which unfortunately I have lost. What should I do to sign in successfully into my google account?

For some reason I have GOOGLE  AUTHENTICATOR app installed on my phone.

I may have had a similar problem.

So I would download and install this app, attempt to login to your account, you may be asked for your code or to open Authenticator.

This might then display your code or create a new one.

Good luck

google "have lost the code google account with 2-Step verification", you will see a number of ways to access your account.

What was your 2FA? Did you lose that device too?

It was the google codes that were saved in a txt file on my Laptop but my hard disk was formatted and data was deleted. I tried to recover the data with EaseUS but I couldn't recover that txt file. I am using the same Laptop from the same location at the moment.

Thanks for your reply but I am not sure if this is gonna work. I am hoping to get some other options other than the Google 8-digit code when I try to login again because I think we should wait at least a week to try with the google recovery again.
