A domestic incident in Nonthaburi ended in the death of a 57-year-old man on October 9, following a heated argument with his ex-wife, leaving him dead and her severely injured. The incident occurred at a townhouse in Prachanivej 3, Muang District, Nonthaburi.

Police officers from the Rattanathibet Police Station responded to a report of a violent stabbing at around 20:00. Upon arrival, they found two individuals in critical condition. Rescue workers attempted CPR, but 57-year-old Sirat, a grilled pork vendor, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His ex-wife, 56-year-old Dao, was rushed to Krung Thai Hospital in Pak Kret with severe stab wounds to her chest.

Inside the two-story house, police found Sirat’s body on the ground floor, lying in a pool of blood. He had been stabbed five times, three wounds to his chest, one to the left side of his abdomen, and one to the right. Near the bedroom, officers discovered a folding knife and a pair of bloodstained scissors, along with another kitchen knife near the entrance.

Vachara, the couple’s 33-year-old daughter, explained that her family of four, including her brother, had been living in the house together. She described her father as a jealous man. One month prior, her parents had officially divorced, yet they continued to live under the same roof. The night of the incident, her mother had returned home from work, leading to a heated argument behind a locked door. Vachara, stated she was unable to determine who initiated the violence, but broke down the door and helped her brother carry their mother out of the house, while their father was unconscious in a pool of blood inside.

Arm, a 37-year-old neighbour, recalled hearing Dao’s cries for help during the altercation. Moments later, he saw her being helped out on the street, holding her chest, bleeding profusely. Nearby residents immediately called for emergency services. Arm mentioned that although the couple occasionally argued, it never seemed out of the ordinary, just typical marital disputes. He was not close to the family, being only a neighbour.

Police are continuing their investigation to determine the full details of the incident.

Looks like a win win. Who´s gonna sell the pork now? Maybe the neighbor see the chance to take  over the business.
