You need to be 50 years or over. You need a bank account with 800,000 baht credit for the last three months or an Embassy certified income of 65,000 baht a month or a combination of savings/income. A current letter from the bank is also required. Then it is off to Immigration. The fee is 1900 baht. If you travel abroad often you also need a re-entry permit.

If you just want a multi entry non immigrant O visa from Penang you will need passport/copy, photos and proof of bank account (we have not heard what they currently require but Singapore requires 800k baht and can be anywhere).
