What's the best way to get Aussie TV, in Thailand.. can I VPN, or do I need pay TV

Simply go the TV station’s website using a VPN. Enjoy.

Depends on what you want to watch.

 

Apart from SBS On Demand, I haven't had much luck with vpn's.

I prefer a good IPTV.

You can access just about any channel.

 

I use an android box to run mine through.

Follow the above instructions and you can watch all the Australian channels and radio stations. Plus all the New Zealand  channels and radio stations. Vpn is required.

I downloaded a free vpn, funningly enough called "Free VPN" in google play store. Can watch all Aussie TV through their TV channel apps
