Maybe next year.

My last Thanksgiving Dinner was back in 1974, and home-cooked.

Since then, most of my family members have gradually died off, over the years.

 

Maybe this is why I have been reluctant to try to duplicate the ThanksGiving Vibes for myself, alone, in Thailand.

 

Anyway, I already feel great thanksgiving....just BEING in Thailand....

Why would I need a separate dinner just to celebrate what I celebrate almost every day?

 

Also, without the cold weather of back home, a stuffed turkey just doesn't taste the same.

 

One thing we always had at our Thanksgiving Table was plenty of candlelight and a roaring fire in the living room, adjacent to the dining room.

This was always a big part of our celebration.

Not sure how many restaurants in Thailand can offer a roaring fire.

 

Also, I used to make a fruitcake once a year, with plenty of brandy.

I will miss that, as well.

 

So, maybe next year, when I have time to plan a bit more.

Then, I will find the right restaurant in CM for me....

One with a roaring fire and plenty of candlelight at table.
