Pol. Lt. Col. Narathip Suthon, Deputy Inspector of Bang Pa-In Police Station, received a report at 20.00, pn November 25, of a man jumping from a pedestrian bridge over Rojana Road in Ban Sang Subdistrict, Bang Pa-In District, Ayutthaya Province.
 

The man was critically injured, prompting emergency responders from Wang Noi Hospital and the Ayutthaya Ruamjai Foundation to rush to the scene.

 

At the site, authorities found the victim, a man aged approximately 40-50 years, lying in the middle of Rojana Road beneath the pedestrian bridge. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and gray shorts, and he had suffered severe head and body injuries, including heavy bleeding from his mouth and nose. Despite rescue personnel performing CPR, the man succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward.

 

Upon inspection, no identification documents were found on the deceased. On the bridge, police discovered a pair of brown slip- on sandals and 27 baht in cash placed neatly on the bridge railing.

 

According to a witnesses, the man, who appeared to have mental health issues, had stolen a bottle of beer from a nearby convenience store shortly before the incident. When confronted by the shop owner, he fled to the pedestrian bridge, where he removed his shoes, left the cash, and jumped to the road below.

 

Authorities have sent the body to the Forensic Science Institute of the Ministry of Justice in Pathum Thani for a detailed autopsy. Efforts are underway to identify the man and locate his family for further investigation.
