Thai police issued an urgent directive prohibiting officers from collecting monthly fees for red checkpoint boxes following a corruption ruling by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).

Thailand Slashes Airfare Prices by 30% for New Year Holiday Travelers

Chumphon authorities have formally charged a 30-year-old woman, Ms. Jiranthanin, with multiple offenses, including causing death by reckless driving, driving under the influence, and fleeing the scene of an accident. The charges follow a horrific collision on a rural road in Chumphon province that claimed the lives of three family members,a mother and her two teenage children.

Continuous heavy rainfall in Pattani Province caused flash floods in several areas, with Khok Pho District among the hardest hit. Roads were submerged, and water from nearby mountains inundated homes, forcing residents to evacuate and secure their belongings in safer locations. The floods severely impacted Piriyanawin School, located in Ban Khlong Hin Witthaya, Pak Lo Subdistrict, Khok Pho District.

British Man Arrested for Overstay and Insulting Phuket Officials

A British man was arrested on 27 November at Phuket International Airport for violating Section 81 of the Immigration Act (overstay). He had stayed in the country 130 days longer than permitted by the stamp in his passport.

Police in Don Mueang are investigating the mysterious death of an unidentified man, whose body was discovered covered with banana leaves along the side of a road near Khamphaeng Phet 6 Road. The gruesome discovery was made near the flats of the Airports Authority of Thailand in Don Mueang district.

Bus Catches Fire in Ang Thong, No Injuries Reported
