Lifan 200X from Riders Corner.

Nov 25 rode to:

Mont Lan Chang Homestay & Restaurant, 319 หมู่ 3 Saen Hai, Wiang Haeng District, Chiang Mai

Nov 26 rode paved roads in the area w/ a German guy I met.

Nov 27.  Hired a local to guide me to:

Pumpkin Pikun Guesthouse, 212 หมู่3 Mueang Khong, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai 50170

by the river road 

[40-meter narrow suspension bridge had papa puckered up.]

and back by the mountain way.

100km; 5hr total incl breaks & lunch.

"Guide" & his buddy each rode Kawasaki 150cc KLX.

Turns out they hadn’t been this way before. 5 5

Nov 28  SW over the mountains to Pai.

The place is packed w/ tourists.

Nov 30 over to Pumpkin again.

The cottage where I’m sleeping tonight

had 80cm water for 2 days Oct 4 from flooding.

They’ve been working since to fix everything.

Will dallying for a few days.

 

Farengie are rare here.

No 7-11 stores.

No ATMs.

No gangi shops.

Pretty cool.

Pumpkin House

This spot had 2 feet water flooding 7 weeks ago.

The mighty Lifan.

Hanging around having Pumpkin House comp brecky,

egg, rice, sausage, mini-avocados, 

bananas & oranges also in season.

Hopefully Anoon my local guide will show up.

Word is he had to shoot over to Pai last evening.

So 50-50.

He rides a 

CRF w/ 17"wheels, supr-moto style.
