A domestic dispute ended in a horrific murder when a 39- year-old man fatally stabbed his wife in front of their 8-year-old son. The incident, which occurred on December 4, left the community in shock. The victim's heartbreaking final words entrusted her brother to take care of her children.

The attack took place at approximately 20:30 in front of the family home in Koh Pia, Yan Ta Khao District, Trand. The victim, Ms. Jaruwan "Pan" Kaewprajum, 35, was stabbed multiple times in the torso, neck, and hands by her estranged husband, Mr. Chamnan "Chui" Sudklaew. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries at Yan Ta Khao Hospital.

According to family members, Ms. Jaruwan, a former hospital cleaner, had endured years of physical abuse by Mr. Chamnan, who was described as short-tempered and prone to violence. The couple, who had two children together, had separated two months prior due to ongoing domestic issues.

On the night of the murder, Mr. Chamnan reportedly arrived at Ms. Jaruwan's home on a motorcycle. Witnesses say he confronted her, leading to a heated argument. Moments later, he pulled out a knife and stabbed her repeatedly in front of their eldest son, who begged his father to stop. The incident was captured on the home CCTV system.

Ms. Jaruwan managed to stumble outside, screaming for help from relatives before collapsing. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her wounds en route. Her final words. to her brother were, "Please take care of my children."

Mr. Chamnan fled the scene but was later apprehended at his father's house in a nearby village. He confessed to the crime, claiming he acted out of anger after being insulted by his wife. He also alleged that longstanding marital issues and suspicions of infidelity had driven him to the breaking point.

Police have charged Mr. Chamnan with premeditated murder. He is currently in custody and awaiting trial.

Ms. Jaruwan's uncle, Mr. Wora Kaewprajum, described her as a hardworking and devoted mother who had been raising her children on her own since separating from her husband. "She endured so much, but we never thought it would come to this," he said tearfully.

Her brother, Mr. Jirasak Kaewprajum, expressed regret that he couldn't save her in time. "I heard my nephew screaming and ran to help. She was bleeding heavily but still managed to ask me to take care of her children. I tried to get her to the hospital, but she didn't make it," he said.

The victim's mother, Mrs. Chare Kaewprajum, revealed that her daughter had called her shortly before the attack, expressing fear of her husband. She said she never imagined he would resort to such violence. "She suffered so much from his abuse. If she could hear me now, I'd tell her not to worry about the children. We'll take care of them," she said.

On the afternoon of December 6, police escorted Mr. Chamnan to court for his first hearing. He admitted to the stabbing but claimed he had no intention to kill, citing a loss of control during the argument. However, authorities are skeptical of his account, as evidence suggests a premeditated act.

Tie the bugger up and give each of the family members a knife... let him know how it feels.
