Skipped 90 day report. Can they fine you at the border on leaving the country?

Featured Replies

I doubt they ever fine at the airport.  I've never seen any report about it here.  We would have heard about it here.

I'm sure people depart all the time after skipping 90 days, and it would be a big problem and well known if they started fining people at the airport because many won't have that much baht when they get to passport control.

So my understanding is that it's the same as with TM30. If you never show up at immigration, you don't need worry

nope, they dont care

BUT on ur next 90 day report if ur on a year extension, they will notice ( dam computers) u missed one and "might" be fined.

Five years ago, I asked about the 90 days thing, and was told that I can "avoid" it by paying the fine in advance for the year to come. I think it was  ฿2000.-?

Have you heard of anyone fined for skipping a 90 day report during their previous stays?

Why pay in advance if you can pay the same 2000 baht after the fact?

A TM30 would only be required when attending immigration for some certain reasons.

Just like 90 day report

OP has now started 3 threads on doing his first 90 day report with this one suggesting to skip it. He could have just done his 90 day report in less time than what he spent on the threads trying to get around doing it 😀

Immigration at the airport recently erected a gallows in a discreet room out of public sight to deal with miscreants not doing their 90 day report. Make sure all your affairs are in order before attempting departure .

But it was during your current stay in the country?

Yes.

You are asking about something different. That being exiting Thailand with having missed a 90 report.

You could be fined when attending immigration after your return for unrelated matter eg extension.

The io would need to be checking dates on pp (departure/return)

Guessing wouldn't bother.

I'm asking about a different thing. Say you skipped 90 day report, then left the country, then returned. Will you be fined when you visit immigration?

3 threads re TM47.

If you skip a 90 report there will be no issue on exit both via airport or land.

When return to Thailand a vigilant io my notice when you do next 90 report.

This information has been posted already.
