British man arrested for 'human trafficking' raid at bar in Thai resort as dozens of women are loaded into police truck
Old thread - new court case. Also new allegations about that raid in 2023. Specicifcally that Flower's are on trial for child abduction, child prostitution and human trafficking. None of this has been reported in the Pattaya Media. Perhaps becuase the local media ghets its info from Pattaya Poilice - not Trafficking in Persons UnIT and CIB who carried out the raid. Somebody can start a new thread if they so wish. I just added a few notes because the story relates to the Flirt Bar raid -

BBC Accuses Facebook of Limiting Palestinian News During Israel-Gaza War
All you said; maybe you need to reflect on the reporting of, Jon Donnison, Lyse Doucet, and Jeremy Bowen; they are all fully qualified BBC antisemites, so I’m sure you are very well aware of them, but unfortunately for you, mentioning them totally disqualifies your statement. -

Love-Struck Teen Risks Safety for Girlfriend's Gift in Rayong Crash
File photo for reference only Yesterday afternoon in Rayong province, a heart-stopping scenario unfolded when a 17-year-old, known affectionately as Off, brushed off his injuries from a motorcycle crash to save a precious gift from his girlfriend. The dramatic incident took place on Road 3371 near a school in the Nikhom Phatthana district. Off, who collided with a pickup truck mid-U-turn, sustained leg injuries but astounded everyone by refusing medical attention until his gifted sandals were retrieved. As officers from Nikhom Phatthana Police Station and Siam Rayong Rescue volunteers arrived at the scene, they found Off prioritising his sentimental footwear over his injuries. The incident occurred when the pickup truck was making a U-turn, leading Off’s motorcycle to hit it, severely damaging the bike. Despite his injuries, Off's first concern was ensuring that his girlfriend’s gift—a pair of sandals—was safe. Only after the sandals were found did he agree to be taken to Nikhom Phatthana Hospital. Off, a student on internship from Prachinburi Province, knew no one in Rayong, heightening his sense of isolation. Nevertheless, his focus remained on the sandals, a testament to his devotion. Fortunately, Off avoided severe injury, and his recovery is now underway. Authorities are still gathering evidence to resolve the incident with the pickup truck driver. Meanwhile, this modern tale of love and loyalty has captured the hearts of many on social media, showcasing how romance can persevere even in the most unexpected circumstances. -- 2024-12-19 -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Your MG must charge super slow during the last 5%. I think your MG must have a very slow final 5% based on how it balances/calibrates the BMS. My Atto charges at the same rate from 85% to 100%....a rate of 32KW. And below that the Atto's charge curve is 88KW up to 65%..then from 65% to 85% it's 57KW...and then as already mentioned 32kW 85% to 100%. Or said another way, charging from 95% to 100% (that final 5%) takes the same time as charging from 85% to 90%, 90% to 95%. Each one of those 5% increments takes approx 7 to 8 minutes. And in the final minute of charge just before it reaches 100% it goes into "calculating" mode where it's calibrating the charge percentage indicator.- 1
