Links to the Daily Telegraph

When I included a link to the Daily Telegraph in a post the link was stripped.  Why? Are links to the Daily Telegraph banned?

The majority of links are now displayed as plain text rather than clickable hyperlinks. Users can still copy and paste them into their browser if they choose to visit the associated pages.
