Chiang Rai Hospital Error Leads to Tragic Death During Dental Surgery

A Thai woman, Katesuda Buanark, 33, suffocated during dental surgery at a private hospital in Chiang Rai on December 19. Katesuda, a traditional Thai dancer residing in Singapore, had sought treatment after a motorcycle accident damaged her teeth. During the procedure, a critical error with the oxygen tube left her without oxygen for five minutes, causing her death. The hospital admitted fault and pledged compensation but has not disclosed specifics, leaving the family frustrated. Katesuda was the family’s breadwinner, supporting her husband and nine-year-old daughter. Her husband is gathering documents and plans to attend her funeral and seek justice.

"Private hospital".
You have to query the credentials of the place and the staff, a basic procedural error like that should never happen.
RIP to the lady and good luck for the family, I hope they get justice. I don't even ask if the "hospital" had insurance.
