My sister in law bought a townhouse for us in her name and we are paying the monthly mortgage fee. Is it possible to transfer the title to my husband's name although we haven't finished paying it? What are the process and how much can we spend in transferring the title?

only the land that is not possible for non Thai only Thay

For transfer you have to pay a fee or tax .

Olso it is possible to Buy the house and lease the land .

You should also check with the mortgage provider. A mortgage is a legal charge over your property. There are likely to be restrictions in there as to what you can / cannot do in terms of transferring title. (Otherwise people could borrow money vs a property, change the name on the property, default on the loan, and the bank wouldn't be able to get its money back from the property. Hence the clauses)
