global expat Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Hi everyone, I'm a Canadian in my early 30s looking for international health insurance in Thailand. I am trying to save money on health insurance. I've been researching options and understand that Western-based plans from non-Thai companies like April France, Cigna, AXA UK, and Allianz Europe might be preferable due to stronger consumer protection laws. I'm considering plans with either a $500,000 usd or $1,000,000 usd annual limit. Would $500,000 be sufficient coverage, or is the higher limit of $1,000,000 recommended for comprehensive healthcare in Thailand? Any insights or recommendations based on your experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
BritManToo Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Yeah, I saved a lot of money on my health insurance over the past 17 years by not buying any. 1
