A military patrol vehicle was the target of a bomb attack near the Talu Boh Bridge in Pattani province on 15 March, according to security sources. The incident took place at 11:15 when a unit from the Marine Corps Special Task Force, whose specific division has not been confirmed, was returning to Narathiwat. The attack occurred along a major route in the Pakaharang subdistrict, Mueang Pattani district. Initial reports suggest that several officers sustained injuries from the blast, including temporary hearing loss and chest pain. The injured personnel were promptly taken to Pattani Hospital for medical treatment. In response, security forces cordoned off the area to prevent further attacks. Forensic teams examed the site, and authorities are actively pursuing those responsible for the attack while assessing potential threats in the region. "Ongoing" - Any different than Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and invasion/occupation of Ukraine in 2022? Domestic insurgency against occupation of a prior sovereign nation doesn't require an investigation to understand the resulting violence.
